Do you wear glasses? Recommended ones?
Either your answer is a yes or no, we all know that a recommended/prescribed glasses helps an individual correct his/her sight and helps them see better.
Without a recommended glasses, an individual’s sight can be quite blurry(I mean those who actually use glasses). In fact some can’t read without it.
How is your sight? Great right, or okay
But how is your spiritual sight?
Do you see with the eyes of Christ, or do you sometimes allow what you can see physically determine what is.
Like the example above, your physical eyes(senses) are limited(blurry).
In the past few days, I am learning more to see and view things the way Jesus would, because whatever stage of life you are in, or situation you are in, if you don’t know what God is saying, you might walk blindly into things, just because it looks like what you want.
2 Kings 6:17
Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
When you see with the eyes of Christ, you will trust God more; you will fret less, you would love more and understand things and people better.
2 Corinthians 5:7, the Bible says we should walk by faith and not by sight.
It would be best if you recognised that the only recommended way to look at things is the way Jesus(The word) sees things.
You can not love another person genuinely if you do not know the person of Love(Jesus). We need to see others, situations the way Christ sees them.
So how can we see better?
Keep your focus on God
You see things better by keeping your focus on Jesus. Staying and learning at His feet, the closer you get, the more light is shed, and you see things clearer.
Consciously remove distractions
If you put on a pair of glasses or shades that is dusty, you would not be able to see things clearly until you wipe it off with something clean.
The same goes for our spiritual sight; distractions like fear, unbelief, distrust, sin can blur our vision.
We have to talk to God to help us get rid of these things.
Read the word and pray more..
The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:130.
The more of the word you take in, the more understanding you come into; the more light is shed.
Spending time in prayers is also important, praying in the Holy Ghost.
See you in the next one.
God bless you, nice write-up
